Ekansh tranquil moment was shattered when one of his bodyguards, Arjun, rushed in, panting heavily.

Arjun: (panting) "Hukum v...vho sssaraf uss road pe nhi hai. Shayad koi legaya. Jb tak m.mein vahan phucha, road pe sirf khoon tha."

Ekansh's face darkened with anger. He had a reputation for being a shrewd and influential figure in the city's underworld, and nobody dared to cross him. But someone had just crossed that line, and his pent-up rage exploded. Ekansh (angry) "Kisne kiya ye? In his fury, Ekansh slammed his hand down on a glass coffee table in front of him. The glass shattered, and a shard pierced through his hand, causing blood to gush out instantly. He winced in pain but clenched his teeth to suppress any sign of weakness.
Arjun(alarmed) "Hukum, aap thik toh hain na?"

Ekansh: (grimacing) "Haan, main theek hoon.
After Arjun rushed to find first aid supplies in one of the rooms, he realized that Ekansh's injury was more serious than it appeared at first. As he carefully examined the wound, his expression grew even more concerned. The shard of glass was embedded deep in Ekansh's hand, and it was clear that immediate medical attention was required.

Arjun: (worried) "Hukum, ye chot zyada gehri lag rahi hai. Isme glass ka tukda hai, jo khatarnak ho sakta hai."

Ekansh, still trying to maintain his composure.

Ekansh: (gritting his teeth) then just f*cking Call our medical team."

Arjun: "S..Sir, a..aapne hi toh poori team ko Samay Rathore ji ke treatment ke liye Mumbai bheja hai."

Ekansh sighed"Theek hai, bandage kar do."

Arjun nodded and quickly began to clean and bandage the wound as best as he could with the supplies at hand. However, he couldn't shake off his concern for Ekansh's well-being.

Arjun: (pleading) "Hukum, please, ye chot badi hai. Pass mein hi ek hospital hai. Vahan chaliye, please."

Ekansh, recognizing the genuine concern in Arjun's eyes, finally relented.

Ekansh: (sighing) "Manoge tum ho nhi , gadi nikalo."

Without wasting another moment, Arjun helped Ekansh and guided him towards the waiting car. Within five minutes, they reached the nearby hospital.

FEW HOURS AGO

Ishita, was on her way back from the hospital, having completed her shift. As she drove down the same road where Saraf lay unconscious and half-dead, her professional instincts kicked in. She noticed the unusual sight and immediately pulled over her car, her heart racing with concern.
"Oh my God! What happened here?"

She hurried out of her car and rushed to Saraf's side. His body lay lifeless on the cold pavement, surrounded by a pool of his own blood. Her eyes widened as she observed the extent of his injuries, realizing that a part of his tongue was
severely cut.

With her medical training and experience, Ishita assessed the situation, checking for a pulse and signs of breathing. It was a critical moment, and her quick thinking and professional expertise might be the only things that could save Saraf's life.

As Ishita provided immediate medical assistance to Saraf, she also made the crucial call for an ambulance. With her quick and skillful actions, she managed to stop the bleeding temporarily. When the ambulance arrived, she accompanied Saraf as he was rushed to the hospital where she worked.

As Saraf was wheeled into the hospital, the staff and onlookers were horrified to see the renowned interior designer in such a dire condition.

Ishita swiftly took charge, providing a detailed report on Saraf's case to the attending doctor, Dr. Subhas. He listened attentively and then asked a critical question.

Dr. Subhas: "Did you find any part of the tongue where he was lying?"

Ishita: (concerned) "No, Dr. Subhas. I searched, but there wasn't any piece of his cut tongue."

Ishita, with her experience and knowledge, then suggested using microvascular surgery to repair the damage.

Dr. Subhas, while observing Saraf's condition and listening to Ishita's continuous bickering, finally spoke up.

Dr. Subhas: (calmly) "Calm your horses down, Dr. Ishita. I think we should use a glossal prosthesis. Okay, now get ready and come to the operating room."

The surgery to repair Saraf's tongue was successful, and as he was being wheeled out of the operating room, his anxious family members rushed toward the door, their faces filled with concern.

. Family Member Asked anxiously"Kaise hain ab? Operation successful hua ki nahi?"Dr. Subhas nodded reassuringly.

Dr. Subhas (calmly) "Operation toh successful hua hai, lekin unhe bolne mein abhi bhi bahut dikkat aayegi. Abhi toh vho kuch bhi bol nahi payenge. 4 din baad se unka Functional Rehabilitation shuru hoga."

As the family members absorbed this news, Ishita stood nearby, witnessing their emotions unfold. She couldn't help but feel a sense of empathy for them. Whoever had harmed Saraf so severely deserved severe punishment, and that thought weighed heavily on her mind.Just then, a nurse approached Ishita and urgently whispered,
"Doctor, Doctor, can you please come with us? Hukum is here for the stitches, but everyone is afraid to go near him. Can you please do it?"

Ishita chuckled at the nurse's apprehension.

Ishita: (smirking) "Tum log itna kyun darr rahe ho? Ekansh Vir Chaudhary hi hai, koi shaitan nahi jo kha jayega. Chalo, dekhte hain kya hai tumhare 'Hukum' , jisse itna darr rahe hain sab."

With her confident stride, Ishita followed the nurse, ready to tend to Ekansh's wounds, not just as a doctor but as someone unafraid of the powerful reputation that preceded him.

Inside the VIP room, Ekansh maintained his usual icy composure, his eyes revealing nothing. The hospital's VIP room had become a hub of excitement, with interns peeping inside, both male and female, their faces expressing a mixture of awe and jealousy. The female interns couldn't help but swoon over his enigmatic presence, while the male interns seethed with jealousy.

As Ishita approached the scene, her presence commanded instant attention. She didn't tolerate the interns' unprofessional behavior and issued her commands with authority.

Ahem...

"I think aaj sab bhut free hai, jho ki mujhe dekhne mein aacha nhi lag raha. So,Interns no. 3, 1, and 5, I want you to perform rectal examinations of bed no. 34,10, 27& 33. And interns 1 and 2, go attend to womb care. Intern no. 4, you're with me."Ishita smiled with a hint of satisfaction seeing her juniors in sour mood.

The interns quickly dispersed, leaving Ekansh's room in a whirl of dramatic anticipation. Ishita entered the room, her demeanor a stark contrast to the previous commotion. She greeted Ekansh, her voice carrying a hint of intrigue and professionalism.

Ishita: "Good evening Mr. Ekansh."

Ekansh turned his gaze towards the side from where he heard the sweet, calming voice that seemed to soothe his senses. His eyes met with a pair of hazel brown eyes, tinted with a hint of green, and in that moment, he felt utterly mesmerized.

Time seemed to stand still as Ekansh and Ishita locked eyes, a silent understanding passing between them. His usually stoic exterior momentarily softened, and he found himself drawn into the depths of her gaze.

However, the enchanting moment was abruptly interrupted by Arjun's voice, bringing Ekansh back to reality.....

Hello beautiful souls!

I hope you enjoyed this chapter. I know the story has been moving a bit slowly, but don't worry, after their first interaction with each other, the narrative will pick up pace.

Additionally, what do you think Ishita will do when she finds out that the Sarafs' condition was all because of none other than Ekansh?

Also, I have a feeling that Ekansh was mesmerized by ishita's eyes. What are your thoughts on that?
